As we have in the past, we at the South Salt Lake Valley Mosquito Abatement District is again getting ready to ramp up our free Education program. For those who may not know us, we are a local government agency that specializes in disease control from mosquitoes. Our presentations in the past have introduced children to life cycles, simple genetics, wetland habitats, and numerous other topics coinciding with the common core standards. We connect our presentation directly to common core standards of 4th and 5th grade, specifically the science standard 5 in each grade.
In-person presentations are still very much available, a we also have the capability of doing our presentations online, through zoom or YouTube Live
